The Malawian Coffee Company is a social enterprise supporting Malawi’s remote coffee growing communities and providing educational opportunities to some of the poorest children in the world.

Currently 100% of our profits are given back to good causes in Malawi. 

We work directly with the farmers who grow our coffee and ensure we pay “more than a fair price” for their produce.

About

Wani and Paul are childhood friends and founded the company through their joint love of Malawi. Wani was born in Northern Malawi, spending his early years growing up in the same region as where the coffee is grown. Malawi is very close to his heart. He is passionate about promoting the country’s excellent produce, the potential of its people and hopes to reframe the outside world’s perceptions of Malawi.

For Paul, Malawi had always intrigued him and it was during his first visit he fell in love with the country. He became hooked by Malawi’s vibrancy, the stunning landscape and the warmth of the people. Since that visit, Paul has been a champion of Malawi and is equally passionate about increasing people’s knowledge and understanding of this wonderful country.
